Privacy promise

Your health data stays yours

Five plain-language promises about what we do — and what we never do — with the most personal data you'll ever put into an app.

01

We never sell your data

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. There's no ad network in Softa — nothing to sell to.

02

Your health data isn't for ads

Symptoms, cycle entries, sleep and mood logs exist to show you your own patterns — never to target you with anything.

03

Delete everything, any time, no support ticket

One tap in Settings permanently deletes your account and every log tied to it — immediately, not eventually.

04

Every third party is named, not hidden

If Softa shares anything with anyone — a subscription processor, a crash-reporting tool — it's named on this page and in the full policy. No "service providers" euphemism.

05

You can take your data and leave

Export everything as a file from Settings, any time, before you decide whether to stay.

What we do vs. what we never do

We doWe never
Store what you log, encrypted, so you can see your own patternsSell your data to anyone, for any reason
Send aggregated symptom counts to Anthropic (Claude) only when generating your Visit Pack summarySend your name, email, or raw notes to that or any AI service
Use RevenueCat to keep your subscription status in syncShare your health logs with a payment or subscription processor
Send a generic push like "Softa noticed something"Put your specific symptom or trigger in a push notification
Log a crash report (device type, what broke) if the app breaksSend your health data to a crash-reporting tool

Where your data lives, and who processes it

Your account data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure, access-restricted to what running the service requires. A small, named set of processors handle specific jobs — Anthropic (only when generating your Visit Pack summary, aggregated counts only), RevenueCat (subscription status), Apple and Google (billing — Softa never sees your card details), Sentry (crash reports), and Expo (push delivery, generic copy only). Every one of them is named, and none of them gets more than the specific data their job requires. The full list, with exactly what each one receives, is in our Privacy Policy.

How to export or delete everything

Open Settings inside the app. Export gives you a file with every log, entry and answer tied to your account. Delete account removes all of it, immediately and permanently — no support email required, no waiting period.

Questions

Does Softa sell my data?

No — never. There's no ad network in the app, and no data broker relationship exists. This is the same answer today as it will be after any future funding or acquisition; it's a product principle, not a temporary state.

Who actually sees my symptom logs?

You. Nobody at Softa reads individual logs as part of normal operation. The only third party that ever sees any of it is Anthropic, and only aggregated counts, only when your Visit Pack summary is generated.

Can I delete everything, or just deactivate?

Delete, fully. Settings → Delete account removes your account and every table it owns immediately — not a 30-day grace period, not a soft-delete flag.

Is this legally binding, or just marketing copy?

This page is the plain-language version. The legally operative document is our full Privacy Policy — read it for the complete, binding detail.
