FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Softa?

A perimenopause tracking companion. You log symptoms, cycle changes, sleep and mood, and Softa shows you the real patterns underneath instead of a generic checklist.

Who is Softa for?

Anyone noticing early perimenopause signs, already in it, or wanting a clearer picture before a doctor visit.

Is Softa a medical device?

No. Softa doesn't diagnose or treat anything. See our medical disclaimer for the full detail.

How does Softa figure out my stage?

A rule-based, explainable model — not a black-box algorithm — using your cycle pattern, symptoms, and how long things have been going on. It updates as you log more.

Does Softa predict my next period?

No, and deliberately so. Cycle prediction assumes regularity, which is exactly what perimenopause disrupts — Softa logs real dates only.

How is this different from a period-tracking app?

Period apps are built to predict from a regular cycle. Softa is built for the opposite — irregular, changing cycles — and tracks the full range of perimenopause symptoms, not just cycle days.

What does Softa cost?

Free to start — Body Map logging, symptom and cycle tracking, and the full Explore article library, with no time limit. Premium unlocks the 28-day challenge, Trigger Detective and the Visit Pack. Take the quiz to see your personal offer, including a free trial. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

Where do I manage my subscription?

Through the App Store or Google Play, wherever you subscribed — not on this website.

What happens to my data?

It's never sold or shared with anyone, and used only to build your own plan — never for ads. You can export or fully delete it at any time.

How often do I need to log?

As often as you notice something worth logging. There's no streak to keep and no penalty for a missed day — more logs just mean a clearer picture sooner.

Can I use Softa if I'm not sure I'm in perimenopause?

Yes — the assessment is built for exactly that uncertainty, and gives you a starting estimate either way.

Is Softa available now?

The web assessment is live today. The mobile app isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet — see the Download page for the current status.
